A new bottom bracket cartridge design was issued in January 2010 by StarTrac. The new design is a result of premature wear to the bottom bracket housing of NXT models made prior to March 2007.
This new cartridge design, OEM part# 740-7515, was intended for use if the repair procedure using the original design, OEM part# 800-4030, is not stable.
