How to Reset a Bowflex MaxTrainer M5 Console

The following steps to reset the console of a Bowflex M5 Max Trainer apply to the model SKUs 100702 and 100359. These steps apply to the serial numbers beginning 8003601.

Note: Resetting the console will erase all user profile settings and previous workouts. Once erased, the information cannot be retrieved.

• Turn on the machine and press and hold the Burn Rate/Increase and PAUSE/END buttons for 3 seconds to enter Console Setup Mode.
• Press ENTER to open the Sound Settings menu.
• Press ENTER again to advance past the total run hours for the machine.
• The console will now show the software version.
• Press and hold the Burn Rate/Increase and PAUSE/END buttons for 3 seconds to open the Reset Console menu.
• Press ENTER to confirm that you want to reset the console.
• Press the Burn Rate/Increase button to change the option to ARE YOU SURE – YES.
• Press ENTER to reset the console to factory settings.
