LeMond RevMaster, Classic Yellow Frame Bikes, How to Remove the Flywheel Pulley

Do you need to remove a flywheel pulley from a LeMond Revmaster Classic indoor bike with a yellow frame?

Follow the steps below to get the pulley removed from the bike.

Tools Required:

• Flywheel Pulley Puller, OEM item 050-11225
  
• Hex Wrench Set

Procedure:

1. Remove the screw and washer from the flywheel shaft.
2. Place the flywheel pulley puller over the pulley. Thread the two small bolts through the puller into the pulley. Tighten the bolts into the pulley. You will need the small hex wrench included with the puller. To prevent damaging the threads on the tool or the pulley, install the two small bolts as much as possible. It may require loosening the large bolt to create more room to tighten the small bolts.
3. Thread the large bolt through the puller and into the pulley. You will need the large hex wrench included with the puller. Tightening the bolt will pull the pulley off the flywheel shaft.
4. Continue to thread the large screw until the pulley pulls from the flywheel shaft.
