Learn how to adjust the leg alignment on your Bowflex Max Trainer. This procedure may be helpful if the rollers seem off track and not aligned on the rail assembly.
Tools Required:
- #2 Standard Screwdriver or Flathead
- #2 Phillips Screwdriver
- 6mm Hex Wrench
- 8mm Hex Wrench
Adjusting the Leg Assembly Alignment:
- Disconnect the AC Adapter or power supply from the machine and wait 5 minutes.
- Remove the one indicated screw from the rear shroud. You will need the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
- Remove the rear shroud from the machine. You will need the standard or flathead screwdriver. Place the screwdriver behind and near the middle of the rear shroud and gently pry until it becomes loose or releases. Then, move the screwdriver to the bottom and gently pry until the rear shroud pops off.
- Remove the caps from the top of the rail assembly.
- Loosen the four indicated bolts that secure the rail assembly to the frame. These bolts are exposed with the removal of the rear shroud. Do not remove this hardware. You will need the 6mm hex wrench to loosen these bolts.
- Loosen the two indicated bolts that secure the rail assembly to the base. Do not remove this hardware. You will need the 8mm hex wrench to loosen these bolts.
- Now that the rail assembly is loose, you can grab it and give it a slight shake or back and forth movement. This shift allows it to settle into its proper orientation. The roller wheels should adjust with the rail assembly to be more aligned. The groove of the roller wheel should center onto the rail assembly.
- After realigning the roller wheels onto the rail assembly, tighten the two bolts to secure the rail assembly to the base. You will need the 8mm hex wrench to tighten these bolts.
- Tighten the four bolts securing the rail assembly to the frame. You will need the 6mm hex wrench to tighten these bolts.
- Replace the caps.
- Replace the rear shroud and install the screw to secure the shroud to the frame. You will need the #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw for the rear shroud.
- Reconnect power to the machine.
This completes the process to adjust the leg assembly alignment on your Bowflex Max Trainer.
