Different Positions and Functions of Bowflex Home Gym Adjustable Hand Grips

  1. Handcuff Grip
The handcuff grip is ideal for exercises like front shoulder raises or any exercise where your palm is facing down.
You achieve the handcuff grip by slipping your hand through the cuff letting the foam cuff sit on the back of your hand while you grasp the grip handle with your palm.

  2. Ankle Cuff Grip
The ankle cuff grip is ideal for leg exercises.
You create the ankle cuff grip by placing your foot between the cuff and the grip. You slide the grip handle away from the cuff allowing enough room to insert your foot. You place the cuff around the back of your ankle and slide the grip handle against your ankle toward the cuff to tighten.

  3. Arch Cuff Grip
The arch cuff grip is an alternate position for leg exercises.
This grip is done by inserting your foot through the cuff so that the arch of your instep rests against the grip handle. You tighten this grip by making sure the cuff is snug against your heel.
