The right work arm was redesigned during mid-production of LifeFitness's Signature Series single station strength chest press model FZCP by LifeFitness.
- Ramsey machines made after 9/23/2009 should have the redesign. Serial numbers FZCP1009017 and after came from the factory with the redesign.
- Protokon (Hungary) machines made after 1/12/2010 should have the redesign. Serial numbers 100943004255 and after came from the factory with the redesign.
This redesign was to help extend the life of the push-pull cable. The cable in the right work arm did not change with the redesign. The changes were made to the right work arm, the cam, and some components.
A kit came with the redesigned right work arm, the push-pull cable, and the new components. The redesign work arm kit is discontinued and no longer available.
The redesigned arm can be physically identified. The new arms have an extra weld. This extra weld is under the handle of the internal plate. See the examples below comparing the old arm to the redesigned new arm.
