Running Error on LifeFitness 4500 Treadmill

Probable Cause

  1. Belt suddenly stopped after movement.
  2. Poor connection of Opto (speed) sensor.
  3. Opto (speed) sensor is out of adjustment.

Corrective Action

  1. Inspect for any obstruction that could cause belt to stop. Reset power to the unit at the On/Off switch.
  2. Inspect cable and connection of Opto (speed) sensor. Repair and replace damaged cable or connection of the opto(speed) sensor.
  3. Inspect the alignment of the Opto (speed) sensor. Adjust or replace Opto (speed) sensor if necessary. Sensor should be centered evenly over target.
