Probable Cause
- Incline control error.
- Insufficient power source.
- User exceeds the weight limit.
- Unit will not lift.
- Unit thinks it is always at 0% incline and only lifts up.
- The 3 amp circuit breaker has tripped.
- The lift motor is faulty.
Corrective Action
- Access the incline manual mode in diagnostics by pressing 9, 1, 9, ENTER, and then pressing the HILL program key. Incline the unit with two people on the unit.
- Ensure treadmill is connected to a dedicated 120V, 20 Amp circuit.
- Advise user of unit's weight limit of 300lbs (137kg).
- Perform the Lift Test from diagnostics by pressing 9, 1, 9, ENTER, and then pressing the HILL program key.
- Inspect the home switch for smooth operation and inspect the wiring of the home switch for damage or poor connections. Inspect the lift motor cable connections and for the presence of the suppressor board (should only be 1).
- Test the circuit breakers and replace them if necessary.
- Replace the lift motor.
