Probable Cause
- A faulty lower control board
- Bad battery
Corrective Action
- Check the battery voltage. Access SYSTEM MEASUREMENTS mode by pressing and holding ENTER, 0, and 2 keys. Continue holding ENTER and 0 keys while releasing the 2. The unit will beep once and SERVICE SETTINGS will appear on the display. Release the ENTER and 0 keys. Press the 8 key. The message MEASUREMENTS will display. Use the SCROLL key to select the battery voltage. This offers a battery voltage reading from an idle state. Verify battery voltage is between 6 – 7 VDC. If voltage is greater than 7 VDC, replace the lower control board.
- Check battery voltage. If the display will allow, access SYSTEM MEASUREMENTS mode by pressing and holding ENTER, 0, and 2 keys. Continue holding ENTER and 0 keys while releasing the 2. The unit will beep once and SERVICE SETTINGS will appear on the display. Release the ENTER and 0 keys. Press the 8 key. The message MEASUREMENTS will display. Use the SCROLL key to select the battery voltage. Verify battery voltage is between 6 – 7 VDC. If battery voltage is lower than 6.2 VDC, either battery needs to be recharged or replaced.
