Battery Over Heats During Program on LifeFitness Bikes, 95Ci, 95Ce, 95CW and 95CEZ

Probable Cause

  1. Battery Wires are incorrectly connected.
  2. Worn Battery Wires.
  3. Battery leads grounding upon frame.
  4. Malfunctioning Display Console.

Corrective Action

  1. Inspect connections:
    1. Red wire to positive (+) lead
    2. Black wire to negative (-) lead.
  2. Inspect Wires.
    1. Replace Wires or wire harness.
  3. Inspect leads.
    1. Replace the battery.
  4. Test with substitute Display Console.
    1. Replace malfunctioning Console.
