Quinton Treadmill has Power but Shuts Down or Resets, What is Wrong?

If your Quinton treadmill has power then shuts down or resets and does not operate, the Limited Access Switch may be activated.  The treadmill will not operate unless the magnetic key is in its place on the display or the Limited Access Switch has been deactivated.

How to Deactivate the Limited Access Switch (which may be necessary during treadmill service only):

• Press POWER to turn off the treadmill
• At the same time, press and hold the +, -, and POWER keys.  Continue holding all keys until the 8s on the display disappear.  Release the keys.

The Limited Access Switch will remain deactivated until the magnetic key is put in its place on the display.  For safety reasons, the treadmill should always have the Limited Access Switch activated and the emergency magnet key available.
