Precor Error 79, AMT Belt Replacement Required

Probable Cause

The recorded stride count has reached 100,000,000 strides

Corrective Action

Replace all four flat belts and reset the flat belt stride odometer

(The flat belt system has a predetermined life span of 100,000,000 strides, which will be monitored through the AMT's software. When the stride count reaches 90,000,000 the Precor Error 78 will be displayed with a message warning that the flat belts will need to be replaced. If the belts have not been replaced by the time the stride count reaches 100,000,000 and a stride count reset has not been issued through software diagnostics, an Error 79 will be displayed and the AMT will lock out the display with an 'Out of Service, Replace Flat Belts' message.)
